I work with adolescents and adults seeking individual, couples and family counseling for trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress management, and relationship issues. I have practiced mental health in our community in a variety of clinical settings including in-patient psychiatric hospital, school based, and out-patient care. I began as a counselor specializing in trauma informed care with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy which is rooted in attachment science and has extensive research in widespread and diverse populations. EFT is renowned for not only its effectiveness in couples counseling but has been shown to be a powerful therapeutic model for individuals and families as well.
