Therapy is different for everyone, and I will work with you to find what works best for you and your goals. I can help you achieve your goals if you know what they are, and I can help you find your goals if you don't. I frequently have evening session availabilities.
A first session with me usually looks like information gathering and getting to know each other, as I believe that therapy works best when there is trust. I strive to make sure that we can find what you want or need in your life, then set goals and achieve them, so that you can work towards accomplishing at least one personal task per session.
You don't need to overthink a first session; I offer a free consultation, and I can even help you navigate insurance, so if you think that you might want a session, just reach out! If you're REALLY nervous about your first session, we can just do some light breath work and easy conversation– Therapy can be difficult at times, but your happiness is worth it!
