About
I have advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy with a special focus on adult ADHD (attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder). I also have successfully treated a variety of mood, anxiety, and personality disorders.
Cognitive behavior therapy, or CBT, has been supported by a wide body of research as an effective approach for depression, anxiety, and a variety of other issues. The focus of treatment is in the "here and now" and what you can do today. You will learn concrete tools to help you cope more effectively and make the changes you want in your life.
Following my doctoral degree at Columbia University and internship at Weill-Cornell Medical Center, I completed a post-doctoral program in cognitive behavior therapy. I am currently in private practice near Herald Square in Midtown Manhattan. You can read more about my practice at www.NYCtreatment.com.
In addition to my specialization in adult ADHD, I also treat conditions including: panic attacks, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, PTSD, social phobia, binge eating, insomnia, and fear of flying.
