We all know that therapy is hard! To find success, you have to connect with someone new, have trust in their practice, and then share your deep personal struggles. That takes a lot of work! In my practice, I strive to do the "heavy lifting" (so you don't have to) by creating an emotionally safe place so you can explore yourself with confidence, curiosity, and compassion. For over ten years, I have worked with people from all walks of life, with diverse backgrounds, personalities, and lifestyles. My goal is to allow people to be themselves, to breathe, and to learn about the emotional struggles that are impacting their lives.
My career has found me working almost everywhere, from in-home services within marginalized communities, to at-risk students within affluent school settings, to inmates getting evaluations while incarcerated, to children and families involved in the foster care system. I started Grateful Day Counseling in June 2024 so I can be myself within my own practice.
Starting therapy is hard! Worrying about finding the "right therapist" can be a tremendous hurdle, but it doesn't have to be! We can set up a free video consultation to give you a sense of who I am and the authentic nature of my personality. I always look forward to connecting with new people and helping them begin their journey of discovery and healing.
