Dave is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT); a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC); a Pastoral Counselor; and a Level II EMDR Therapist; and has taught in the pastoral counseling graduate program at Assumption College. Dave's academic work includes dual majors in Religious Studies and Psychology at Assumption College; a Master's degree in Theological Studies and Pastoral Counseling at the Claremont School of Theology (CA); and two years of post-graduate academic work in pastoral counseling at Claremont.
Dave studied with Howard Clinebell, a founder of the modern pastoral counseling movement. Dave has served on the clinical staff & as the Administrator of the Clinebell Center (CA); on the clinical staff of the Pastoral Ministries Institute (D.C.).
Dave served 24 years at the Pastoral Counseling Centers of Massachusetts (Worcester Pastoral Counseling Center & Assabet Valley Pastoral Counseling Center) and most recently as the Executive Director of the Pastoral Counseling Centers of Massachusetts for 13 years.
