My clients often seek relief from anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance misuse, grief, or struggles adapting to major life changes. The therapeutic space we create together becomes a safe—if not always comfortable—place to explore what's worked before, what you'd like to change, and what that change can look like or mean for you. Through the Counseling and Trauma Therapy Associates agency, I am honored to work with you, and learn about your personal journey and goals. I have experience with a wide range of clients including military veterans and first responders, creative professionals, students, and the LGBTQ+ community.
Navigating life’s ups and downs is a balance of holding on, letting go, and trying to stay true to ourselves—holding on loosely, as the song goes. That looks different for everyone. Sometimes it means laughing, crying, writing, or creating art; sometimes it looks like healing trauma through self-compassion and peace. Sometimes, it's just talking it through.
You're in control of where you wish to grow, and how you wish to get there. My role is to listen, reflect what I hear, and through compassionate connection, help you discover your strengths, focus your goals, and kindle your own abilities to heal and progress. For this, I use a combination of Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy.
