I’m a nontraditional therapist who deals with people who don’t connect with "normal" therapists. Most of my sessions take place outdoors. A large portion of my approach involves Behavioral Activation which starts by taking a walk- no fake living rooms here! Regardless of your current physical capabilities, walking and talking takes the pressure off and allows us to work. Walking & talking has helped people overcome depression, anxiety, trauma, etc. for millennia. Don't worry, I am a real therapist who has all the same training and tools as the others- but doing it while walking outside simply works better than sitting in an office!
Sessions with me deal with the tough stuff head on. 1) I’m an EMDR trained, trauma-informed therapist who has worked successfully with PTSD and other trauma-related concerns for years; 2) I’m an expert in providing Behavioral Activation through walking, running, CrossFit, etc; 3) I help folks navigate tough spiritual questions to find deep and lasting peace.
