I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and transformative. I integrate different approaches, using behavioral strategies with children and more reflective, analytic methods with adults. Progress matters, and I work alongside you in an active, collaborative process that creates real change. My style blends therapy and mentorship, with the relationship at the center. Together we’ll focus on building resilience, confidence, and a strong sense of self. My ideal client is motivated for growth and ready to embrace change.

My specialties are quite diverse as I have two degrees, one in Education and the other in Social Work. I was originally trained in behaviorism and usually merge behavior therapies with personality trait theories. This approach, while demanding, usually produces very positive results for my clients.

My practice is a safe place where people can share and be open. Once trust is established it becomes a virtual Swiss army knife, in that the therapy is adaptable and useful regardless of the situation. Essentially I want my clients to be empowered with a new sense of themselves and their abilities.

The Adult Group was formed as our high school clients entered adulthood. This group aims to ease the transition out of high school and into other environments and adulthood. Skill building for forming relationships, work contacts and interviewing skills are taught and processed. Social outings are part of the group. This group also works to discourage and replace negative behaviors such as internet addiction and other dysfunctional processes. And most of all we have a great time in the process!

Peer Relationships-Middle School Social Skills

Middle school, need we say more? The transition from elementary to middle school is often a challenge. The group eases this transition through skill building, support and mutual caring. Organizational skills are also taught and shared. Our groups are for any child or teen on an IEP or 504 plan and or struggling with a neurological or social issue. We do not believe in separating anyone based on a disability classification

Peer Relationships-High School Social Skills

This therapy group is targeted to high functioning high school aged teens with any type of neurological difference-ASD, ADD, LD--and meets twice monthly in the evening. It has a three-pronged focus: Social Skills Building, Emotional Support & Executive Functioning Improvement. As well, guest speakers are brought in regularly and we have off-site meetups as well.
