My name is Dr. Freeman and I’m a Black psychologist passionate about bringing people’s well-being back to the front. I offer my clients a compassionate, skilled, and effective approach to therapy in hopes of helping them find what they need to live authentically. Most importantly, I’m here to support you in overcoming obstacles to living the life you desire. In addition to therapy, I provide comprehensive evaluations for trauma, substance use, and OCD, and affirming testing for those who wish to explore neurodivergence (e.g., autism and ADHD testing).
I work with individuals who manage anxiety and trauma, including if you have a fear of people, places, or situations impacting your quality of life and happiness. I will help you navigate your concerns so you can move toward lasting recovery. If you align with being neurodivergent, my goal is to help you explore these experiences and identify your strengths.
My goal is to closely work with you at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive so you no longer feel like you have to carry it alone. Starting therapy can be tough but can also be a rewarding process. If you’re ready to begin your journey to better living, please get in touch! I look forward to working with you.

I work with those who have experienced abuse and/or trauma, those managing high levels of anxiety, and those who fear situations, people, and/or things. Clients learn how to directly face upsetting memories and situations, increase their confidence and self-esteem, and establish healthy boundaries within themselves and others. Many of clients report feeling empowered at the end of their journey.

I use a mixture of mindfulness-based practices, exposure therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. We learn more about anxiety, depression, and trauma and explore ways to challenge upsetting experiences. I help folks develop a kinder voice, face difficult events, and build their confidence.
