Mandala Counseling and Creative Arts is a practice built on the value of each individual’s innate ability to heal and grow. I recognize that vulnerability is a core component of the therapeutic process and that creating a trusting environment is essential for you to experience your best outcomes. I have eighteen years of experience working with war zone Veterans, military sexual trauma survivors, and grieving family members using evidence-based practices and expressive arts interventions with the Department of Veterans Affairs and am now moving forward into private practice where I can help the broader community.
My focus is on building resilience in response to trauma, loss and hardship. I am experienced with Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and mindfulness-based therapies and also use expressive arts and Non-Violent Communication practices to amplify the benefits of clinical work. I have a dedicated studio space for clients to kindle their creative spark.
If you would like to develop an accepting and appreciative relationship with your internal protective system in order to resolve issues with anxiety, depression, esteem, trust or similar issues and move forward with joy, compassion and creativity, please reach out for a free consultation.
