Welcome to my profile! My name is Darren and I'm a licensed therapist in North Dakota and Minnesota. I specialize in OCD and anxiety disorders, and I have expertise working with several other mental health conditions listed in my profile. Heightened levels of distress can cause disruptions and impairment in our lives and create maladaptive behaviors over time. At Carter Clinical Counseling, I collaborate with clients to work toward their treatment goals for the reduction and elimination of symptoms. As a client, your treatment will be of the utmost importance to me and you'll be treated with dignity and respect.
I'm trained in empirically supported interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for the treatment of OCD, Anxiety, Phobias, Panic Disorder, and other mental health conditions. It's an honor working with clients, and providing them support as they make positive changes to live a more fulfilled life.
