Darling St. Louis
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW-C
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating adults and adolescents who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationships issues, life transitions and other disorders. My approach to counseling begins with fostering an open and safe relationship in a nurturing environment that promotes healing, growth and insight. I collaborate with each client to identify, set and achieve goals to address challenges and concerns.
In my practice, I incorporate elements of evidence based counseling techniques to help individuals explore who they are, make desired changes, learn effective coping skills and access their natural resilience.
I have 15 years of experience providing mental health services to clients in public and non-profit social services agencies, hospitals, and community behavioral health programs. I earned a MSW from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
