As a clinical psychologist with 33 years of experience, I am prepared to help you address common psychological struggles. By guiding you to identify triggers and maladaptive behaviors, we can develop coping strategies to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. If there are underlying trauma issues, I have extensive experience working with those situations as well. Additionally, I have helped many clients struggling with behavioral medicine issues such as stress management, smoking cessation, and substance use.
Once coping skills are in place to enhance functioning and help you feel a greater sense of control, we can explore your personal history and underlying factors which contribute to your difficulties, if desired. At regular intervals, we will evaluate your need and preference for ongoing therapy.
