Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT
I help parents cultivate romance and get their children back on track. We need relationships with family and those closest to be life-giving. But family relationships can sometimes be challenging and even excruciatingly painful. My passion is for these primary relationships to be healthy and thriving! I strongly believe that no one experiences life to the fullest or truly lives to their potential in isolation. They do both in loving, supportive relationships - be they friendships, dating, marriage, and sibling or parent-child relationships. I work best with clients who want to be active participants in the therapy process.
Using personal history, genograms and family systems theory, I help clients recognize patterns in their relationships so they can make desired changes. The work we do together unleashes an exciting and dynamic process which increases understanding and opens the door to change for individuals, couples, families and friends.
I am a certified Gottman trainer for the Bringing Baby Home program which focuses on the transition to parenthood and have experience as a chaplain doing bereavement counseling. For those with insurance, I provide a monthly statement to submit for reimbursement. I would enjoy the opportunity to speak with you.
