Our approach to therapy is one in which our clients are viewed as resilient and resourceful. Our office is a place where change happens. I am now offering Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy to our practice. Horses are extremely intuitive animals and are able to help facilitate change on an emotional relational level that enhances the healing process.I have had a long interest in horses and find a healing effect to be activated when in their presence. This realization was probably the most important driving force that propelled me into this horse/person connection as a modality for treatment.
I find this meditative resonance with all animals, but horses provide this much more than other animals for me. I value the transpersonal, and find great satisfaction and nourishment in nature. I believe EFP to be an effective treatment for many different types of populations and for numerous treatment goals.
I can also provide supervision for LPCs working toward their LPCC and LPCCs working toward their supervisory credential, the "S". You can expect to be supported and challenged in interactive sessions. I will currently do these sessions over secure video conferencing. I will focus on developing you personally and professionally .
