I have been working with couples and families for over 30 years, specializing in relationships. I work with couples who want to improve their relationship, figure out where it's going, or end it with as much peace as possible, with families where there has been divorce and child behavior problems, and with individuals who have anxiety or depression. Therapy is based in the present and is short-term. You should see results quickly, and if you don't, something about the way therapy is going needs to change. Your time and money will not be wasted.
I offer Discernment Counseling for "mixed agenda" couples who aren't clear whether their marriage can be (or is worth being) saved.
Relationships evolve. It's important to acknowledge that we cannot always be everything to our partner, nor can our partner be everything to us over multiple decades. My work allows for conversations about the multiplicity of forms that relationships can take, including expertise in polyamory and other consensually non-monogamous relationships.
