Welcome to my practice! I'm Darby Walton, a dedicated single mother of three and a licensed therapist with many years of experience helping individuals, families, and communities navigate life's challenges. With a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential, I've spent my career providing compassionate and supportive guidance to those in need. My approach is highly individualized, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.If you're seeking a therapist who is passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to your well-being, let me help you on your healing journey!
My approach to therapy is highly individualized, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their concerns and work towards lasting change whether the issues are processing and healing from trauma or simply needing an objective, listening ear.
I work with teens and adults across Mississippi via telehealth. I'm currently completing my LPC-S training to expand into clinical supervision, building on over a decade of clinical practice. If you want a therapist who treats mind, body, identity, and relationships together, I'd love to talk.

I always knew I wanted to work in mental health. My first years centered on substance use and co-occurring recovery. Trauma and attachment work then became my focus, and I trained in EMDR (Level II) and IFS/ego-state work. I'm now completing my LPC-S training in clinical supervision.

I work with clients who may be struggling with trauma, PTSD, or relationship patterns rooted in attachment wounds, including LGBTQIA and non-monogamous clients seeking genuinely affirming care. During our initial sessions, we'll explore what's underneath the struggle and build a plan using EMDR and attachment-focused approaches. Most clients notice steadier emotions within the first few sessions

I often use EMDR (Level II Trained), IFS/ego-state work, and CBT or DBT, depending on what you're working through. Rather than following one fixed method, I shape each session around what you actually need, grounded, attachment-aware, and paced to you.
