Finding an affirming therapist can be a difficult & complex process. For many of us, living as our authentic selves can be challenging. Sometimes there are multiple barriers & difficult decisions ahead. You don’t have to navigate it alone. Together we’ll create a supportive/collaborative space needed to move through any relational challenges, and/or to process difficult experiences. Many clients work with me because they prefer working with a therapist who has first-hand knowledge of trans/queer identities & others work with me because of my 15+ years of experience working systemically with individuals, couples, and families.
Whatever it is that brought you here, I can help you sort things through, meet your unique goals, and improve your relationship with yourself and others. Parents and youth often come to therapy together. However, you can attend therapy individually, with partner(s), or family. Right now I only offer telehealth sessions.
I support/affirm adults & youth as they navigate their unique gender journey. This includes providing support letters when necessary to begin or continue a medical transition. For clinicians: I provide online supervision/mentoring toward your supervision designation, or specialized consultations for your gender affirmative practice.
