I have a Master's degree, and CT state license, in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Early Childhood development. I enjoy working with children and adolescents because it allows me to incorporate a blend of treatment approaches and draw on a variety of techniques and styles. I am able to effectively build a therapeutic relationship with clients by using creative therapy techniques. This allows the client to feel safe to open up and discuss the issues that they may be struggling with.
I provide each child the opportunity to work through their worries, behaviors, and feelings in an empathic, nurturing environment. I am a firm believer and are able to assist families in becoming empowered to effectively intervene with children who may be struggling with mental health, interpersonal and behavioral issues.
I became a therapist in order to help individuals navigate their complex worlds and to inspire them to live a healthier, happier life. I meet every client with sensitivity and compassion. I help clients build upon their strengths to identify and reach their therapeutic goals.
