I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of eating disorders, obesity, and associated issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues and stress management. I have extensive clinical and research experience in the assessment and treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and obesity.
I work with preadolescents, adolescents and adults, and offer individual cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive psychotherapy to my patients. As one of only a few certified Maudsley family therapists in the country, I offer Maudsley Family Therapy to adolescents struggling with anorexia nervosa and their families.
I provide parents of adolescents with Maudsley-informed parent coaching as well. For many years I was a full-time faculty member within the Eating Disorders Program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical College. I currently focus my work within my private practice in Princeton, NJ.
I also offer seminars and workshops focused on eating disorders and disordered eating in schools, academic research settings, and in communities in and around New York City and New Jersey.
