My name is Daphne Smith, I am a Licensed Social Worker who has been practicing for the past 20+ years. My approach to therapy is motivational in style with a background in multiple cognitive behavioral approaches. My focus of practice is general mental health, families, PTSD and trauma. I have experience working with adults, children, families, Veterans and first responders.
In my practice I utilize cognitive behavioral approaches to assist in changes behaviors or patterns of thinking. In trauma I use a cognitive process approach to process the trauma and decrease distressing symptoms.
