I am a Licensed Social Worker who has been practicing for the past 20+ years. My approach to therapy is motivational in style with a background in multiple cognitive behavioral approaches. My focus of practice is general mental health, families, PTSD, and trauma. I have experience working with adults, children, families, Veterans, and first responders.
In my practice, I utilize cognitive behavioral approaches to assist in changing behaviors or patterns of thinking. In trauma, I use a cognitive process approach to process the trauma and decrease distressing symptoms.
