Welcome! In my work with individuals (ages 10 and up), couples, families, and groups in counseling, I believe in using a holistic approach and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual areas of people's lives because treating the obvious symptoms is not necessarily the cure. With a background working as an RBT for children with Autism, I take a creative and individualistic approach to working with my clients to address their areas of concern.
My style of work takes a huge focus in making changes. Working with me will involve being open to experimenting with various methods to do things differently in your life.
With my education grounded in family systems, I look at the big picture and address details in your life you may not notice is impacting you. Trauma is a huge focus and I like to use EMDR when possible to target persistent obstacles in my clients' lives. I also like using creative and experiential approaches to help clients process emotions simultaneously.
