Danya Goodman is not currently accepting new clients.

Dr. Goodman believes that the best therapy starts with a genuine and empathic relationship, and she incorporates different approaches from cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, client centered, interpersonal and psychodynamic therapies to flexibly meet your needs. By developing a true appreciation of her client's strengths and through working together, clients are able to learn about themselves and to begin to change. Her style has been described as warm, irreverent and honest. She enjoys working with people struggling with different aspects of their lives, from mood, to anxiety, to relationships. We all carry complexities from the past.

Dr. Goodman also enjoys working with people who may have had difficulty with previous therapy, and people who may not have felt accepted or understood because of a diversity of gender, sexuality, sexual or relational identities. She strives to make her practice inclusive and welcoming of diverse experiences.

Dr. Goodman has had extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and often incorporates elements of DBT. However, due to the limitations of private practice, she is not currently able to offer full DBT services. Dr. Goodman specializes in sexual disorders, and identity development.
