About
Hi, my name is Danny. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for panic attacks, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, depression, phobias, PTSD, insomnia, and OCD. My approach to therapy integrates several empirically supported treatment models to help people to meet their goals and improve their lives. I strive to help the people I work with to break free from anxiety that restricts their lives. In addition, I help people to develop sustainable happiness, increased satisfaction with life, and greater psychological resilience. I am supervising two post-doctoral clinicians who have immediate availability and a sliding scale fee.
If you have been struggling with insomnia, stress, depression, or anxiety and feel that this is limiting your life, I want to help you to feel better. I have received specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness meditation techniques. When combined, these strategies can create fast and dramatic changes.
The therapy that I conduct is customized to each person. The first step is to set up a time for us to meet so that I can listen to what has been bothering you. Together, we can develop a plan that is going to work for you. If you are wanting a lower cost therapy option, I have a post-doctoral supervisee who also specializes in the treatment for anxiety.

Mindfulness for Psychological Resilience
Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment and accepting our experience instead of engaging in our habitual pattern of judging. It is a simple practice, but also challenging, profound, and transformative. Mindfulness meditation has been found to be effective in treating symptoms associated with a variety of disorders, including depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder. It has also been found to decrease suicidal and self-harm behavior and to increase positive emotional experiences. In this group, you will learn how to bring yourself back to the present moment in order to be fully engaged in your life.
