My office is a place where the integrity and autonomy of my clients, regardless of age, is of the upmost importance. Children and adolescents have rich inner emotional worlds with very real and valid feelings, and inalienable rights to have adults in their lives who will treat them with respect and dignity. With my counseling expertise, and my client's expertise on themselves, I want to collaborate with the client to create a safe space where feelings and thoughts can be expressed without fear of judgement.
I specialize in individual and group sessions supporting children and adolescents with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, Gender Dysphoria, and other Queer issues. The core of my approach is client centered, and I will integrate other approaches based on the client’s needs. I can offer techniques from play therapy, talk therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, and MI.
We're living in very scary and uncertain times. A lot of us feel lost right now, helpless and hopeless. It's incredibly valid to feel that way. I believe that humans are durable, that we're made to adapt and survive with the help of others. My goal right now is to help people survive, not to tell them their feelings are wrong in this dark hour.
