I believe in the healing power of psychotherapy. I understand that the process might be a long one. If I take on a client, I am in it for the entire journey. I am comfortable working to help you access the parts of yourself that feel both scary and powerful. I find that I am particularly skilled at working at the intersection of neurodivergence and queerness.
I am the Director of the Walnut Psychotherapy Center. Based nearly on 20 years of experience, I work mostly with LGBTQ community and understand the nuances of queerness. I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma. I am also vigilantly aware of how therapists can be harmful and work to dismantle this.
I received my B.A. at Smith College, a post-baccalaureate degree in psychology from Columbia University, and Master's in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. I received my doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
