About
Covid 19 is adding stress to other symptoms, and can to be addressed for strengthening coping skills, gaining relief from painful emotional symptoms, improving personal relationships and work productivity. Even with virtual sessions it is possible to benefit from a safe, private environment, talk things over and feel understood as a unique individual, in order to change ways of coping that haven't been working. I help gain insight into feelings and behaviors that get in your way, preventing the past from interfering in the present and replacing self-destructive patterns of behavior with opportunity for a more satisfying life.
With many years' experience conducting online treatment for those working abroad as well as in my office, I continue to treat, teach and supervise throughout this period of Covid 19 realities. Customary symptoms don't disappear, they may enlarge under this new threat. Solid therapy skills, empathy and a grounding in cutting edge research defines my work.
I provide a caring and supportive atmosphere with a priority on integrity and adhering to the highest professional ethical standards. Confidentiality and respect for the whole person are the underpinnings of my work. I offer an initial brief online consultation via teletherapy.
