I believe therapy is a collaborative and creative endeavor, and provide a safe, supportive environment for you to explore your identity, relationships, history, and desired changes. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you create lasting changes, and am also influenced by Mindfulness, Narrative, Relational, and Systemic approaches to therapy. I am certified in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program and trained in Trauma-Focused CBT. I am also supportive and affirmative of clients of all sexual orientations and gender identifications, and can assist with issues such as coming out, homophobia, and LGBT relationship or parenting issues.
I view life as an ongoing journey where even our most difficult moments provide us with opportunities to grow, change, heal, and connect more deeply with ourselves and others. Therapy can be the first step towards this growth, and I would be honored to walk with you on your journey.
In addition to my work with individual adult clients on a broad range of issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and adjusting to transitions, I also specialize in parenting issues, management of behavioral problems, family therapy, and children and adolescents facing a variety of mood, developmental or behavioral problems.
