Do you feel like you’re stuck in survival mode? Does it feel overwhelming to experience your emotions? You are not alone. I am passionate about working with people on reconnecting to themselves, their bodies, and their values so they can live the lives they want to live. I respect the vulnerability and courage it takes to navigate one’s healing journey, and I see each person as the expert of their own life. In therapy, I aim to co-create a shame-free space with clients where we can explore, understand, and develop strategies for easing life’s challenges. My therapy style is centered in body-based and emotion-focused therapies.
I work with adults in both one-on-one and group settings. My clinical focus has been on mood disorders, healing from sexual violence and other traumas, identity exploration, relationship concerns, and other mental health challenges.
As a white, fat, queer, nonbinary person (all pronouns), my approach to therapy is informed by values rooted in anti-oppression, anti-racism, queer and intersectional feminist theory, fat liberation, disability justice, and trauma-informed care.
