Is your teenager feeling anxious or sad, grieving a loss, having problems in school or using drugs? Are you having trouble talking to your child about the changes they are going through? Your teenager experiences many stressors which can lead to various issues that impact your entire family and these stressors can be explored in therapy to give your family the relief you are searching for. Your teenager needs a safe place to express his/her feelings and learn healthier ways to cope with struggles to help him/her go on to lead a healthy life.
With an individualized approach, I assess and create a treatment plan to help clients reach their personal goals. I create a warm, supportive environment where my clients learn concrete tools to help them sustain success after therapy. My compassion and empathy allows me to build relationships with teens to encourage growth.
I am a Solution Focused Therapist who utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family System modalities. I work with the children as well as the parents to promote change in the child as well as the entire family. I provide individual, family and group therapy.
