About
I believe that your life does not get better by chance. It gets better by change. My approach in therapy is to provide a therapeutic environment that is safe and conducive for change. I pride myself on believing that when you’re given the proper tools to implement along with a desire change can occur. If you are struggling with an addiction, need help coping with anxiety &depression and other various disorders, let me help you by using an eclectic approach (CBT,DBT,SFT,MI). I believe establishing a rapport and meeting you where you are is essential to the therapeutic process.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I have earned several certifications as an addiction specialist. I have completed significant work with anxiety, and depression. I have been trained in Trauma-Informed care to better service clients. As a Therapist for several years, I enjoy seeing the change process occur. I have worked in diverse settings with individuals, families, and groups, I have also worked with the offender based population.
