I am Danielle Ott, a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia and a Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors. I provide therapy and counseling to adults, teens, and couples who are seeking help for depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and challenges regarding religion, spirituality, and the church. I completed undergraduate degrees at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida, and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I also completed my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University, where I graduated with distinction.
I approach each client from both a cognitive behavioral and emotion-focused perspective, believing that both thoughts and emotions are equal components to successful healing. I create a safe environment that is conducive for each client to work towards their goals at their own pace.
