My name is Danielle Murphy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with clients and families affected by substance use disorders, employing a relational approach to address and treat the whole person. My practice focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive space, emphasizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). With a background in social work, I am dedicated to advocating for communities and individuals stigmatized by addiction. My goal is to empower clients, providing them with the tools and support needed to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices, all from a trauma-informed perspective. These approaches help clients navigate their challenges and foster personal growth and healing.
I lead individual and group sessions, as well as intensive outpatient therapy and other group therapy with special issue focus.
