I strive to create a strong therapeutic relationship with children and families to improve overall functioning with the use of play therapy techniques. I am pursuing my registered play therapist credential. I am passionate about utilizing play therapy techniques to promote growth for all children. I have completed training for EMDR therapy in which I can utilize with children who have traumatic experiences. I enjoy providing opportunities for parent and sibling involvement to enhance the family system as a whole. I strive to help children reach their full potential through fostering courage to face life’s various challenges.
I have experience working in school-based, outpatient, and home-based settings. I have experience working with children with trauma, anxiety, depression, behavior challenges, grief, and overall adjustment to life’s challenges.
