Searching for a therapist takes courage! And I appreciate the effort involved in acknowledging the need for support. Maybe your healing from personal and/or intergenerational trauma, struggling with making a decision, impacted by your own or someone else's addiction, or working through expectations of who you're supposed to be. All of us sometimes need extra support for ourselves, our family, or our relationship. My work is to support YOU in understanding your internal experiences and find healing. The symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other issues suck, but they don't have to define your life.
The therapeutic experience is as unique as each individual. Internal Family Systems (IFS) and understanding our many parts provides a framework of my therapeutic work. Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) is the IFS basis for couples work. Additional, CBT, EMDR, narrative therapy, and other modalities will be incorporated.
