I’m Danielle Mardesen (they/she), an LGBTQ+ therapist providing trauma-informed, affirming therapy for teens (ages 14+) and adults. Many of the ways we cope make sense in the context of what we've lived through, but those strategies that once helped us survive can now leave us feeling stuck, disconnected from ourselves, or unsure of who we are. Together, we can decide what still fits and what no longer serves you, so you can build a life that feels more aligned with what matters most to you.
I work with LGBTQ+ clients, trauma survivors, and people navigating identity development, religious trauma, or major shifts in how they understand themselves and the world. I also recognize how families, culture, and larger systems shape our identities, relationships, and well-being.
