Hi there! I’m Danielle Mann, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and have been licensed since 2016. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Adelphi University and my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University. I have over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field in both private practice and nonprofit organizations . Throughout my time in the field, I have worked with clients with numerous diagnoses and backgrounds. Some of these areas include Anxiety, Forensic, Women’s Issues, Family/Relationship Issues, LGBTQIA, and Psychotic Disorders.
I pull from a variety of modalities, but most importantly I work from a person-centered approach, as each individual is unique and therapy is not meant to be a one-size-fits-all. I believe it is essential to provide a safe space for all clients and work from a strength-based perspective.
During our first session, I will create a warm and inviting space for you to feel comfortable in sharing what you are hoping to gain from therapy. My hope is for you to leave the session feeling validated and heard and that we can continue on a therapeutic journey together to help you feel empowered and well-prepared as you tackle your day-to-day life.
