Let's be real! Life can be HARD. Deciding when it's time for therapy can be HARD. Finding a therapist can be HARD. I try to make things a little easier by creating a safe and supportive space for clients, where you can feel heard and understood. I genuinely care about each and every person I work with and want life to be easier for you! I help clients learn coping skills, identify and challenge their negative thought patterns, learn skills to manage difficult emotions, improve their self-confidence and self-esteem, improve their relationships with themselves and others, and navigate and adapt to life changes.
I believe the most important part of therapy is having a person you can trust who makes you feel supported and accepted. During and after the initial session, I focus on developing the therapeutic relationship and providing empathy, support and validation.
I incorporate CBT, DBT, strengths based, solution focused, and mindfulness based techniques. I enjoy working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, alcohol and substance abuse, stress, life transitions, and the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as many other concerns. I offer sessions for adults 18+ both in person and online. I'd love to work with you!
