My priority is to create a therapeutic environment in which clients feel comfortable and accepted. I am here to support your desire to feel better and together we will tend to the root causes of whatever is bringing you to therapy. I’m also a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist, which means that I pay attention to the whole person- mind/body/spirit. In session, we will take time to “be with”emotional discomfort which is much more manageable with support. I hope to create space for your unique process of expression via non-judgement, while simultaneously helping you to identify coping tools that are already stored in your body.
Deeply listening and tending to the body can be an efficient way to increase self-awareness & discover solutions. I am most passionate about empowering clients to find the tools within themselves to work towards achieving emotional balance for the rest of their lives.
After going through my own life struggles, I found healing through mind/body therapy. It helped me to discover internal resources and transform pain into strength. I value honesty, humor, and kindness and try to weave these into our therapeutic interaction at every opportunity.
