I specialize in helping people of all ages navigate challenges with behavior, managing emotions, dealing with depression or anxiety, improving social skills, and managing ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder. With over 10 years of experience as a school social worker, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to support individuals and families through these unique challenges.
I will always utilize a trauma informed approach when working with you or your child. The therapeutic approaches that I incorporate most often are cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I also incorporate mindfulness and play therapy principles when working with children.
Understanding and compassion are at the heart of effective therapy. My goal as your therapist is to be empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate during our time together, allowing us to create an environment in which you feel safe, supported, and valued throughout the therapeutic process.
