About
Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we plan, and it's difficult to know how to navigate through the challenges we confront. Finding a therapist can be intimidating, and it takes courage to take the first step--so congratulations! Building rapport and trust are essential toward developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Therapy should never be a “one size fits all” approach, and I hope to help you feel validated and supported by acknowledging your own unique life journey. I work hard at creating an emotionally safe environment where you can feel free from biases and judgment.
I am a theoretically flexible therapist who will use the treatment approaches that best fit your unique needs and goals. I draw from interventions based in CBT, DBT, MBCT, strength-based and person-centered therapies. I enjoy and have expertise working with autistic teens/adults as well as individuals struggling with grief, anxiety, and depression.
Although you might be feeling defeated and alone, I feel confident that I can guide you through what may feel like the most challenging time in your life by strengthening the skills, knowledge, and emotional support that you're seeking. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you during this very pivotal moment in your personal growth.
