Life’s complicated — especially when ADHD, grief, or trauma are in the mix. I’m especially passionate about working with teens, parents and COUPLES where ADHD has been misunderstood or overlooked, because those “small” misunderstandings can quietly become big barriers to connection. ADHD is not just about forgetfulness or inattention- it can be rejection sensitivity, emotional dysregulation, difficulties managing finances and at times total burn out and shut down. I work to help individuals and families to untangle the “why” behind what’s not working and help you find strategies that actually stick.
My approach blends attachment theory and family systems work — meaning we’ll look at how your earliest relationships and current patterns shape the way you connect (or disconnect) today. I utilize CBT/DBT skills to manage maladaptive belief systems and learn new regulation tools. I've also found humor, relational immediacy and authenticity go a long way!
