I am a clinical psychologist with specialized training in treating individuals with eating disorders. I completed by doctoral training at the University of Kansas and my clinical internship at the University of Pittsburgh. Like many of my colleagues, I became a psychologist because I deeply care about helping individuals improve their mental health in pursuit of living a fulfilling life!
You are the expert of your own experience. For this reason, my primary goal in the first session is to get to know you and your goals for therapy. Together we will make an individualized treatment plan to fit your needs and help you work towards your goals.
In addition to being a therapist, I am a researcher. I actively contribute to research studies to better understand eating disorders and improve the treatment of eating disorders. I also stay up to date on the latest research coming out of the mental health fields to ensure that you are receiving care that is well-informed.
