Are your OCD symptoms affecting the way you live your life? Do you think you have OCD, but haven't found treatment that seems to work for you yet? Struggling with intrusive thoughts and anxiety that feels unmanaged is really hard, and can be debilitating for some. Unfortunately there are many people living with OCD that live with their symptoms for years and years before they receive a diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
The type of therapy I do is exposure and response prevention (ERP). ERP is the gold standard of care for OCD. In this type of therapy, we will work on gradually exposing you to your fears and triggers, while reducing and cutting out compulsions. This will help break the OCD cycle, so you can live the life you want to live!
My job is to be your coach and biggest fan as you tackle hard things. I have worked with clients living with OCD and other anxiety disorders for many years, and I know how challenging and rewarding treatment can be. I will teach you to build up your confidence and tolerance for hard feelings and uncertainty. I'm excited to work with you!
