I am a New Mexico native and have a passion for serving New Mexicans. I have spent a majority of my career serving individuals and families who have experienced trauma. I have worked extensively with families involved in the child welfare system, families navigating the challenges of domestic violence, and families who have experienced attachment disruptions and concerns. I specialize in religious trauma, and am a member of the Religious Trauma Institute. I am a proponent of the power of the therapeutic relationship, and aim to help clients tap into their inner strength as they gain skills to navigate daily challenges.
I have an eclectic and personalized approach to therapy that focuses on the needs of the individual. I utilize attachment based approaches, CBT skills, integrative models, and skills building. All treatments and approaches come from a trauma informed approach, with focus on the way that trauma and traumatic experiences changes our brains and nervous systems.
I firmly believe in the power of resilience, and love helping people tap into their inner potential and power. The therapeutic relationship based in trust and acceptance is the cornerstone of change. Although the path ahead seems daunting, you do not have to walk alone.
