Stress, loneliness, issues with peers, problems in relationships, identity questions... Life can be too much sometimes! When it feels overwhelming, call in others to be on your team. If you're okay with dry humor and real talk, we'll probably be a good fit to work together. Whether you're 11 or 111, I have some tricks up my sleeve to help you. There's no shame in admitting when things have gotten beyond what you can handle on your own. It takes strength to reach out to others! You don't have to do this alone. I specialize in helping preteens, teens, and adults learn ways to manage intense emotions or unwelcome thoughts, to learn to work with all parts of ourselves, and to harness our strengths (yes, you do have them) to cope with our challenges. I'm also a Certified Financial Social Worker who loves to help women and BIPOC address financial stress and planning.
I can help residents of MD and VA who are ready to make some changes and just need some support on the "how". It can be scary to reach out and I'll do my best to make that first therapy session with me as comfortable as possible. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing how I can help!
