About
My experiences have strengthened my resolve to want to impact people’s lives in a positive way. I have had the pleasure of counseling, supervising, and coaching people in many different roles for the past 17 years. I consider myself to be diverse and have the ability to interact with different populations effortlessly. I pride myself with having innate empathy towards people. The foundation of my practice is Client-Centered, with the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities. By changing the way we think, and act, changes the way we feel, and that leads to better living.
My focuses have been primarily with Eating Disorders and healthy communication. I enjoy working with people who are experiencing life transition (college, marriage, divorce, moving, job change, parenting, etc.). The fear of the unknown can be paralyzing and I have a passion for helping people problem solve and persevere.
You are not alone. Years ago a counselor helped me to find my way. I decided to dedicate my career to passing on this gift to others. If you are feeling hopeless, helpless, or cornered in your current situation there is hope. Regardless of what you are going through, know there is always another way.
