If I were to imagine an ideal client, it would be someone who wants to change no matter what their needs are. It would also be someone who is open to new and innovative treatment modalities. It is also beneficial to have someone who is not hindered in what they discuss. Everything is important.
My specialty is CBT and de-escalation. I am CPI-certified and am proud to say that I have never had to put an individual in any type of restraint. This is important. In my opinion, being able to talk to someone who is struggling and on the edge is not something that can be taught. I offer individuals an opportunity to see that there is hope.
