You are not your diagnosis. My holistic approach to therapy provides immediate support to you when times are hard. I treat the whole person in front of me, not the symptoms of the presenting problem. I provide you with coping skills, tools, and resources to help you start making the changes you want to make in your life. Healing takes time – I walk alongside you during your journey towards mental well-being. If things have become too much and you need a support system, I’ll be there to help you out of the hole of depression, anxiety, trauma, or whatever else you’re experiencing. You’re not alone.
I value authenticity and compassion, and you can expect both when you work with me. Most of my therapy pulls from DBT & CBT. My work is also inspired by narrative and solution-focused therapy. I take a bottom-up approach to therapy, meaning that I start with what’s happening in your body from a trauma-informed perspective and move into thoughts and emotions.
My main purpose is to provide a safe space for you to let go of the day-to-day burdens and stress that you feel and provide support, compassion, and validation. I recognize that therapy can be scary at first. We’ll work together to find healing and self-compassion. I’d be honored to share this journey with you!
